Dear Pastor RS Brewer & Brethren, Greetings to you in the name of Him whose love for us was shown at Calvary, our Lord Jesus Christ. We had a chance to get your e-mail through the net and we just took courage to share to you this urgent need for the project we are in. Please consider helping us, we beg you! Our mission is to keep people from Hell & becoming unproductive but useful and godly for the glory of God. We believe that God has a purpose for each of us and has a wonderful plan. We are using the Gospel of Christ to accomplish this task!   (Items needed)

My family and I recently moved here from California. We are looking for a good, sound Bible believing-teaching church- a place where we can raise our children and family in the Word. We may visit you this Sunday. Do you have a nursery? What kind of studies are available to children?

My family and I were members of GIBC and are proud of it. We learned not only Bible Truths, but also how to learn Gods word. Preacher always said not to take his word, but to study the bible on our own. My son and I got on the website to see how everyone was doing and were sad to find that such a heart breaking response had been posted. My husband and I are also divorced and know that we will always meet other Christians who do not see that we have the same grace they have and by the Blood of Christ were ALL our sins washed away and by the Resurrection of Christ will we not die the second death. We have much Love for All at GIBC and All are in our prayers regularly. God Bless and know you are with us.

I was saved at the age of 11 years old under the preaching of this dear Preacher and I love him for his dedication to the Lord. I am saddened to see that someone is attacking him yet again on this website. Keep up the fight Preacher! It is because of you (and Jesus of course!)that I am destined for Heaven. Keep shining the Light in the Gilbert area. I sure wish I could come out and visit you sometime soon!

Unfortunately, I also read the message left by the cowardly JBS (maybe it stands for 'Just Basically Stupid')If this person ever returns to this website, I would like my response to be available for reading. I was always taught that if you were going to open your mouth and let loose your opinion on something, especially unsolicited, then you had better be willing to identify yourself and take the consequences of your actions. If you are not willing to take the consequences and stand up for what you say you believe - then keep your mouth shut. Good advice for you JBS. I found the condescending tone and evil intent of that posting to be very offensive. Having been in a pasture being overseen by a shepard that allows his flock to starve to death for lack of Bible teaching, I follow my earthly shepard with both eyes open. I am only interested in what my Lord has to say in His Book. I am not interested in what the traditions of the 'church fathers' say or what has always been the doctrine of the church. I want to, and have the right to, and have been commanded to search the scriptures and study to show myself approved. "Show me where it says that in the Bible" is the favorite retort in our church community. What does that tell you? Go away JBS - you will get nowhere here -but before you do read the reply from my Preacher - take this opportunity to learn. I do wish you would identify yourself however for one reason - if by chance you are saved and will be standing at the Judgement Seat of Christ, I would like to be very far away from you when it is your turn to stand before the Lord. The disappointment and sorrow the Lord has because of your actions will be too much for me to witness.

I was able to read the message left on GIBC's guestbook by the coward JBS. Like all trash of it's kind, it is good that it was taken out before it stunk everything up! My first reaction was anger that this fool was possibly hurting some of our members by putting satan's ideas and doubt's in their minds(sowing discord amoung the brethren). I then realized why our preacher has always told us to let ourselves be Spirit led when we study bible doctrine. Then I was angry that anyone would open their big yaps and spread lies and falsehoods about our preacher based on their limited knowledge of God's Word and his life. The fact is that Preacher has made no secret of his divorce and/or his beliefs. JBS, you remind me of some of the people I have known who cry out about their love for the Word and then when they see something that convicts them, they turn from what they know is right and true and run back to the world like a cur with their tail between their legs, afraid to stand against the tide of humanity that will remain lost souls or mediocre christians at best. I will pray for those who refuse to be the priest of their homes and lead their families home to Jesus. Finally JBS, don't come to me with your lies and deceptions about my preacher or my church. Where as the Preacher's desire might be to help you see the light, my inclination is to help let some of the air out of your head. I'm not The Christ, just a Christian.

Just a reminder: This is a guestbook, not a one-sided debate. Please do not use it as a forum to express your beliefs, disbeliefs, or to advertise your wares. However... a recent anonymous posting, (which was removed, due to doctrinal misinformation), caught the attention of our Pastor, who felt the need to respond.
For those interested, his response can be viewed here!
