Winning a Soul To Christ Step by Step

“Soul Winning”  is  introducing a lost soul to the Lord Jesus, the One who is the only Way, the only Truth, and the only Life.  He is the One that can save him from spending eternity in a real and eternal lake that burns with fire and brimstone.  Therefore, soul winning should be undertaken with the understanding, on the part of the soul winner, that  this introduction is truly a matter of eternal life or death. 

“Soul Winning” is introducing a lost soul to the Lord Jesus, the Creator of all, who also is the One that provided eternal salvation for all who would repent of their sin of unbelief.  Therefore, the soul winner, himself, must  understand the importance of each point in the Creator’s eternal plan of salvation.

 “Soul Winning” is introducing a lost soul to the Lord Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords.  Therefore, the soul winner must realize he is an ambassador for the King, representing his Lord. Also, that soul winning is not  chanting a few words of a prayer, but an understanding of what man is in his natural state and what the King sacrificed to redeem us from the curse of that state

The Lord Jesus left His bride with a task before He left to prepare a place for her.  That task is called the Great Commission. It has nothing to do with the obligatory two hours of  seeking to fill a score card on one scheduled day per week.  The Great Commission is to be a lifestyle, everywhere we go.  It is of greater importance than spending less than  two percent of our time per week to fulfill our obligation and assuage our conscience.  No, the Great Commission is of such great importance that it was meant  by our Lord to be the consuming, daily purpose of His disciples. At work, during sporting events, on vacation, or while involved in recreational activities, soul winning in all its parts, planting, watering, and reaping, is to be the underlying purpose of the soul winner’s sojourn and pilgrimage on Earth,  until the King comes to take His bride home.

Why write another book on winning a soul to Christ? Well, I see a niche  that needs to be filled.  Basically, fundamental Bible believers, those who believe the King James Bible is the preserved Word of God, are the only ones who have ever seen the need and purpose in learning to become a soul winner.  People who introduce dignitaries and heads of state spend years learning protocol and clear, proper introductions. The Lord Jesus is the Dignitary of all dignitaries.  Those we introduce to Him must understand who He is. They must understand what He did, and they must understand exactly what it takes to receive His eternal gift. Fundamentalist have wandered into an unclear, ambiguous, and unlearned, presentation of God’s plan that ends with a prayer chant but no understanding.  That is not soul winning!  That is as bad as baptizing a baby and telling him he is going to Heaven because of it.  It isn’t Biblical; it isn’t true!  Soul winning is making sure that a lost soul understands, and personally acknowledges, each point in God’s simple plan.  That is the soul winner’s responsibility, and the purpose of this book.  It is written only to fundamental Bible believers.
