F Y I

(For Your Information)

“F Y I”  came into being as a way to get some of God’s truth on these issues into the hands of those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to learn. Most Christians have never been informed and therefore, are unable to make informed decisions on truths obscured and distorted by the traditions of men. The Lord said in  Hosea  4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge ….” This little book contains two pertinent essays; one on Easter and one on Christmas with additional lessons on the Seven Feasts and the Seven Dispensations. The Lord told us in Deuteronomy 4, that we are to teach God’s precepts and principles to our children and grandchildren. One may argue that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny do no harm, but lying about them to our children will affect our credibility when we later try to tell them about Biblical truth, they will not know if we are lying to them as before, or telling the truth.  Especially since the truth is not widely known or circulated in today’s society, even among fundamentalists.  Sometimes, the truth hurts a bit so some will not enjoy what may be a revelation to them, but it is true never-the-less.  If  this is given to a person who rejects the premise of the articles, it may do them well to read all of Hosea 4:6.  Of course, if one doesn’t believe the King James Bible is God’s  preserved Word, it won’t matter, for the truth is not important to them anyway.  God’s messengers, preachers, men of God, were charged to deliver God’s truth without fear and without favor.  To that end these messages are delivered.  Then you, the reader, must decide—prayerfully, what you will do with the information.  Like salvation and so much of the Christian life, it is an individual choice we must make. However, individual choices affect many, so choose carefully.

Gilbert Independent Baptist Church really is a Bible Believing Church.  We believe the King James Bible is God’s operations and technical manual on life. (Yes, which “Bible” you use does make a difference!)  As such we are learning it, and learning to live it.  We want to share it with others, too! May this effort be a blessing to you.
